Overview

Full Stack Flutter ("we", "us") operates the conference website at fullstackflutter.dev and the call-for-papers application used by speakers and conference organizers. This policy describes what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use cookies and similar technologies.

Data we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may process:

• Account information when you sign in: email address and password (if you register with email), or basic profile information from Google Sign-In (such as your name and email address).
• Speaker profile if you create one: job title, company name, country, postal address, biography, profile and company images, links to social profiles (LinkedIn, GitHub, X/Twitter, Bluesky), and optional sample video recordings.
• Talk submissions: title, description, key takeaways, experience level, whether you have given the talk before, optional YouTube teaser and full-talk URLs, and related submission preferences (such as sponsor interest or coaching requests).
• Moderation data created by conference organizers: internal review ratings and comments on submitted talks.
• Uploaded images you provide for profiles, company logos, or talk-related content. These files are stored in cloud object storage and served from our image CDN.
• Technical logs generated by our server software, such as request timestamps and error information, to keep the service secure and reliable.

How we use your data

• Creating and managing your account and authenticated sessions.
• Running the call for papers, reviewing submissions, and building the conference program.
• Displaying approved speaker and talk information to organizers and, where applicable, publicly.
• Sending transactional emails, such as registration verification codes and password reset messages.
• Operating, securing, and improving the website and application.

We do not sell your personal data.

Legal basis

We process account and submission data to provide the conference services you request. Where required, we rely on your consent (for example, when you choose to sign in with Google or submit a speaker profile). We may also process data where necessary for our legitimate interests in operating a secure, well-run conference platform, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.

Sharing and processors

We use trusted service providers to run the platform, including:

• Google for optional Google Sign-In authentication.
• Google Cloud Storage for hosting uploaded images.
• Loops for sending transactional email messages.
• YouTube when you provide or view embedded talk videos.

These providers process data on our behalf only as needed to deliver their services.

Retention

We keep account, speaker, and submission data for as long as your account is active and as needed to administer the conference. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us (see below).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@fullstackflutter.dev.

Cookie policy

This section explains how cookies and similar browser storage are used on our site.

Essential storage

• Authentication tokens: when you sign in to the call-for-papers app, we store session authentication data in your browser (typically in local storage) so you remain signed in between visits. These tokens are required for the app to work.
• Sign-in flow state: during Google Sign-In or similar OAuth flows, a short-lived value may be written to local storage to complete authentication in a popup window.

Third-party services

• Google Sign-In may set its own cookies or use browser storage when you choose to authenticate with Google.
• YouTube embeds may set cookies if you play embedded videos on talk pages.
• Our public marketing pages load styling resources from a content delivery network. We do not use those resources to track visitors for advertising.

Managing cookies

You can control cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking essential authentication storage will prevent you from staying signed in to the application.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version.
